In a scandal that would shake any parties confidence Governor Daniels refuses to ask for Hinkle's resignation.

This guy voted to amend Indiana's Constitution, so that marriage would be defined as one man and one woman. I know there are some that will say "Well he didn't intend to marry this kid, but the fact remains that he's a hypocrite who believes he's above his own laws.

Now we all know politicians from both camps who has had their fair share of scandals, but when every you vote against something such as this, but thinks your political status exempts you, you should be forced to resign. How about an amendment that says if you're caught in a morally corrupt position you have to resign, be it money or sex scandals. It seems as if these people skipped ethics class.

With the way the government is functioning there is almost no way to reverse this trend. The tea party and their Republican brethren went to Washington with a promise to trim the debt, but their first action was to extend the Bush era tax cuts, at the cost of this nation. They pledged to cut 100 billion from the national debt, how did they plan to go about this? They attack domestic spending to programs that the common citizen rely on. They fail to realize that things like this only makes society harder to deal with for those already hit hard by a prolonged recession. They fail to realize, they have to remove the privilege from the privileged. If they simply remove tax exemptions the deficit could be made up.

My white friends may be upset at what I'm bout to say, but I'm saying it anyway.

The reason this recession has hit whites harder is because they own or should I say pretend to own everything. If those same whites realized on the inside that whiteness does not equal superior they would have weathered the current recession better, The white people in this article truly feel as if they are entitled to more than people of color simply because they are white. Not because they work harder, not because they are smarter, not for any reason except their skin color.

Some whites complain about ethnic studies, but what they fail to realize is every American history class(except those that are specified different) are white history courses. The reason why there exist scholarships for women and people of color is precisely because they were excluded from those available only to whites. I am appalled, but not surprised.

Their is no reason for white people to be afraid. Most people of color are very inclusive, so they are in good hands. The problem will be, groups like these will inevitably bring about hate because their message will be, you have to fight to preserve the majority. You have to stick with your race for purity, and you shouldn't mix with other races. History has seen this before, and the outcome was not a good one.

This is a impossible move and the Republicans know it. They have no other plan to replace the current legislation, but yet they do not like it. Of course insurance premiums went up, they have been going up for years now, but since insurance companies spent so much money opposing this legislation they almost have to raise premiums.

with the economy the way it is, and millions out of work, this Congress plans to spend its first 2 years trying to repeal a law they know they cannot.

Why they cannot you ask? Because Democrats are still in control of the Senate. Republicans may be able to repeal the legislation(law) in the house, but the repeal will die in the Senate. If by some fluke it does get through the Senate(which it will not) President Obama, will veto the repeal. Republicans know this, but they have no plan to boost the economy or create jobs, so they plan on spending their time acting like their working, but nothing will be accomplished. Republicans need a 2/3 majority in the house to overturn a veto, and guess what......... They do not have a 2/3 majority
