Tell me what you think about what Dr. Laura said. There are people who want to make excuses for her, but most people understand she is one of those people who does not know she's racist. Or maybe she does.
So, I don't know. I don't think she was being racist because she just kept saying that black guys say the n-word all the time. She never really called anyone that or agreed with it,she just said, "why is it ok for black people to say it, but not white people?". But at the same time when white people say that, my thought is, "why would you want to say it though?". Personally, I hate the word no matter who says it. I think it's degrading because of its origin. But you may be onto something with saying that she may not know she's racist. I think she has an ignorant point of view, but I think people were making more out of it than what it was, because she never used the word to refer to any person or people in a negative way.
