Oakland Tribune (AP) Online So the Wisconsin Governor finally came to he senses and halted his assault on the middle class. Although, I have been following this for some time now, I had no idea they were stealing this much from the workers of Wisconsin. Not only do they plan to steal this money, but they want to strip the right of the workers to ask questions about where their money would be going. This is a coup in its truest form.

This I do not understand. I have backed President Obama on every issue thus far, but I cannot back the President on this one. We should not have intervened in this civil war. The Libyan people chose to rebel, they chose to challenge their government, so in effect they chose to be killed. Once people choose these actions, they understand what the consequences can be. Those who chose revolution for America said "If we loose we will be hung as traitors." There is no justifiable reason for the US and or any other countries to have attacked Libya. Prime Minister David Cameron (Britain) say "I believe we should not stand aside while this dictator murders his own people." REALLY??? Well what happened in Sudan? The world stood aside while a dictator murdered his own people.
The Sudan is just one example of many, especially in Africa. This is completely uncalled for and I hope troops are not sent into Libya because Iraq was terrible, but Libya would be unbearable.

How can this country ever come together as a collective when we have hatemongers like Rep. King, going around spreading division? It is people like king which threatens the very fiber of this nations democracy. The scary this is people will listen, and fear will prevail. Isn't that the definition of terrorism? Coercion for political means? Mr. King, is by the very definition a terrorist. Even devout Christan's are giving up on faith for what they perceive as protection, but if that's the case were they really devout in the first place?

This is hilarious, and it just proves a point I've been trying to make for sometime now. I wonder how many times this trick has been used to cross that border? They're spending all this time crying about how terrible our Southern neighbors are, while people continue to disregard the Northern Border.

How much money does this nation really owe, and who do we owe it to?
It may surprise some of you just who the United States owes money to. Some of the same people who this nation holds in contempt also holds massive amounts of U.S. debt. With the way the government is functioning there is almost no way to reverse this trend. The tea party and their Republican brethren went to Washington with a promise to trim the debt, but their first action was to extend the Bush era tax cuts, at the cost of this nation. They pledged to cut 100 billion from the national debt, how did they plan to go about this? They attack domestic spending to programs that the common citizen rely on. They fail to realize that things like this only makes society harder to deal with for those already hit hard by a prolonged recession. They fail to realize, they have to remove the privilege from the privileged. If they simply remove tax exemptions the deficit could be made up.

These laws are racist to say the least. I mean, what if the person is a citizen, but speaks Spanish, will they be continually harassed because of the way they they look, speak, and eat? Laws that are meant to effect one segment of the population are racist period.
I understand slaves also had to carry papers saying they were free, or they could be sold back into slavery regardless of their status. Some blacks known by the authorities to be free were still sold back into slavery.
This law is appalling and should never be voted on or even considered. Those who condone idiocy such as this should be ashamed of themselves.
Three cheers for those who refuse to hold their conventions in the lap of bigotry!!!

My white friends may be upset at what I'm bout to say, but I'm saying it anyway.
The reason this recession has hit whites harder is because they own or should I say pretend to own everything. If those same whites realized on the inside that whiteness does not equal superior they would have weathered the current recession better, The white people in this article truly feel as if they are entitled to more than people of color simply because they are white. Not because they work harder, not because they are smarter, not for any reason except their skin color.
Some whites complain about ethnic studies, but what they fail to realize is every American history class(except those that are specified different) are white history courses. The reason why there exist scholarships for women and people of color is precisely because they were excluded from those available only to whites. I am appalled, but not surprised.
Their is no reason for white people to be afraid. Most people of color are very inclusive, so they are in good hands. The problem will be, groups like these will inevitably bring about hate because their message will be, you have to fight to preserve the majority. You have to stick with your race for purity, and you shouldn't mix with other races. History has seen this before, and the outcome was not a good one.
